Informationen zum Autor Andy Valdar has had a wide ranging career in telecommunications, covering network planning, international standardisation, training, marketing and product management, advising on regulation, and developing strategy. After 30 years working for BT, including three years on secondment to the United Nations in India, he joined University College London in 1999 as a visiting professor in telecommunications strategy. The content of this, his second book, is based on his experience at BT and his lecturing on MSc courses in telecommunications. Andy's other interests include his chairmanship of the editorial board of the Journal of the Communications Network and active participation in organising international telecommunication conferences.
