Drucilla Wall grew up in Philadelphia. Reflected in her work are diverse ties to home places ranging from Missouri, Nebraska, Alabama, and Pennsylvania; to the settings of County Wexford and Galway, Ireland. Her writing engages her mixed heritage of Creek/Muscogee American Indian, Irish, and Jewish identity.
