About the author

Adolfo Crespo Marquez works in academia but also has practical experience in maintenance management and modelling, due to a very intense participation in different engineering projects during the last 15 years. Most of these projects were involving multinational companies and engineering teams. Adolfo previosuly published books with Springer in the field of Engineering.
