This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient Intelligence, UCAmI 2013, held in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, in December 2013. The 46 research papers presented together with 8 papers of the workshop UrbAI 2013 were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions.
