Le droit de la propriété intellectuelle dans un monde globalisé
Le Professeur Joanna Schmidt-Szalewski a consacré sa brillante carrière universitaire au droit des contrats, au droit de la propriété intellectuelle et au droit de la concurrence. En 2009, après avoir été Directrice du Laboratoire de Recherches du Centre d'Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI), elle a été admise au grade honorifique de Professeur Émérite de l'Université de Strasbourg. Le Professeur Joanna Schmidt-Szalewski a toujours été soucieuse de consacrer ses recherches et ses enseignements au droit international, au droit de l'Union européenne et au droit comparé de ses domaines de spécialité. Son grand intérêt pour ces matières l'a conduite tout au long de sa carrière à être invitée dans les plus prestigieuses universités et instituts de recherche du monde entier. Ses collègues et amis ont souhaité lui rendre hommage à travers cet ouvrage collectif qui réunit des contributions portant sur le droit de la propriété intellectuelle, matière qui, comme renseignait sa dédicataire, dépassé le cadre national et doit être pensé dans un cadre européen et international.

Professor Joanna Schmidt-Szalewski has devoted her brilliant academic career to contract law, intellectual property law and competition law. Professor Joanna Schmidt-Szalewski has always dedicated her research and teaching to the international, European and comparative aspects of her fields of specialty Due to her profound interest in these issues, she has been invited throughout her career to the most prestigious universities and research institutes around the world. Her colleagues and friends decided to honor her through this collective work which brings together contributions on intellectual property law, which, as taught by the dedicatee, transcends national boundaries and must be understood in a European and international framework.
