Informationen zum Autor Joan L. Brown is Elias Ahuja Professor of Spanish at the University of Delaware. She is the author of Secrets from the Back Room: The Fiction of Carmen Martín Gaite (1987) and Confronting Our Canons: Spanish and Latin American Studies in the Twenty-First Century (2010). She is the editor of Women Writers of Contemporary Spain: Exiles in the Homeland (1991). With Carmen Martín Gaite, she wrote the textbook Conversaciones creadoras: Mastering Spanish Conversation (1994).
