It seems at first like a simple, tragic story. Tyler Wingo, a teenage boy, learns the awful news that his father, a soldier, was killed in action in Afghanistan. David Baldacci lives with his family in Virginia. He and his wife have founded the "Wish You Well Foundation", a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy efforts across America.
