Many young people suffer silently under the verbal, physical and emotional abuse by their parents. They drown in their sorrows and get sick because of pent-up emotions. The woman writing this letter to her parents wishes she could have done so earlier because the unresolved childhood issues are now affecting her adult life. Unfortunately, by the time she braves the situation, her father is dead. However, she feels a wave of relief after putting her thoughts on paper and hopes those who would get a chance to read her memoirs would solve issues with their parents rather than keep things to themselves. Pent up emotions are poisonous to the body.
