Informationen zum Autor Guillermo Jimenez is a pioneer of fashion law with over three decades of experience in international business, law and teaching. Jimenez served as a Head of Division at the International Chamber of Commerce Secretariat in Paris. He created the first American legal committee on Fashion Law and co-authored the first American fashion law textbook. He has lectured in over 35 countries and has taught Fashion Law at NYU and Brooklyn Law School. He teaches courses on fashion law, fashion sustainability and international trade at FIT. Jimenez graduated from Harvard University (Bachelor of Arts) and University of California, Berkeley (Juris Doctor). Barbara Kolsun is Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Stuart Weitzman, LLC, the luxury shoe design, manufacturing and retail company based in New York, where she started the company's first in-house legal department and manages all legal matters, including intellectual property. She previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Seven for All Mankind LLC and Kate Spade LLC, respectively. Kolsun has devoted significant time and effort to the cause of enforcement of intellectual property, serving as Chairman of the Board of the International Anticounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) and as a member of its Board for many years. She has also spoken and published widely on the topic of counterfeiting and trademark infringement in the United States, Asia, and Europe, and has been herself the subject of numerous publications ( The New York Times and Women's Wear Daily ) for her pioneering work and passionate stance on the importance of anticounterfeiting efforts in the field.
