Project Management Made Easy is a lucid description of project management, its significance and project classifications. It covers project life cycle, cash flows estimation, project formulation, appraisal techniques, project financing, project implementation and net-work techniques.
The book does not go into the theoretical and conceptual details. It focuses instead on the practical aspects of project management in the same simple and systematic way that professionals and senior executives prefer to be briefed on techniques whose implementation is pertinent to improvement in their organizations. In order to facilitate easy reading, the presentation relies more on self-explanatory bullet points rather than an exhaustive (and sometimes exhausting) narrative common to many texts.
The book will be useful for post-graduate students for their course on project management. For senior executives involved in or interested in project management and also for professionals, the book will be an interesting and easy read. The book will have universal applicability because projects are a necessity for every enterprise.
About the author
Professor Nand L. Dhameja, PhD, is a fellow at IIM, Ahmedabad. He has vast experience in research, consultancy, and training, and has been involved in national and international projects including privatization, urban infrastructure projects involving PPP approach, evaluation of health care, and implementation of ZBB. Currently, he is professor FMS, Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad. He has contributed a number of books and research papers.
