About the author

Prof. Dr. Georg Herzwurm ist seit 2003 Professor für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Wirtschaftsinformatik II, insbesondere Unternehmenssoftware, an der Universität Stuttgart. Von 2000 bis 2003 hatte er eine Professur an der Technischen Universität Dresden inne. Seine Forschungs- und Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Produktentwicklung, Software-Produktmanagement sowie in der Entwicklung und Anwendung integrierter Informationssystemen. Er ist Träger des internationalen Akao-Prize für Verdienste um die Weiterentwicklung und Förderung der Qualitätsmethode QFD sowie Begründer und Vorstandssprecher des QFD Institut Deutschland.
