About the author










John O'Neill is Professor of Sociology at York University in Canada. A prolific author, his books include Perception, Expression and History, Sociology as a Skin Trade, Making Sense Together, and Essaying Montaigne. He is also editor of the International Library of Phenomenology and the Social Sciences and co-editor of Philosophy of the Social Sciences.
