About the author
Prof. Dr. theol. Dr. phil. Dr. iur. utr. Lutz Simon M.A., wurde 1941 in Neurode geboren. Ab 1961 Studium der Rechtswissenschaft, BWL und VWL in Frankfurt und Würzburg. 1969 Zulassung zum Rechtsanwalt; 1971 Promotion zum Dr. iur. utr. an der LMU Würzburg; 1979 Ernennung zum Notar in Frankfurt; neben der Berufstätigkeit, Studium der Philosophie und katholischen Theologie sowie der Politik an der JWG-Universität Frankfurt und der Theologischen Hochschule St. Georgen. 1986 Promotion zum Dr. phil.; 1993 zum Dr. theol. Danach nebenberufliches Studium der Meteorologie, Geologie und Physik. Ab 1996 Professor für Privat- und Wirtschaftsrecht an der FH Frankfurt/Main. 2005 Berufung in die Europäische Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste. 17.12.2006 Verleihung des Bundesverdienstkreuzes am Bande. Seit Nov. 2007 Präsident der Rechtsanwaltskammer Frankfurt; von 2011 2013 Präsident der europäischen Rechtsanwaltskammern; 31.05.2013 Verleihung des Hessischen Verdienstordens. Er ist Autor zahlreicher Bücher sowie Mitherausgeber der Buchreihe des Professorenforums. Prof. Lutz ist verheiratet und hat drei Töchter.
