About the author

Marion Thain is Reader in English Literature and Culture at Sheffield University. She has published primarily on late-nineteenth-century poetry and poetics, and is author of 'Michael Field': Poetry, Aestheticism and the Fin de Siècle (Cambridge, 2007).
