About the author

Paul Foss founded artUs in 2003 in Los Angeles and previously taught history and philosophy of science at the University of New South Wales in Sydney before becoming editor of "Art & Text" from 1984 to 2002. Laurence A. Rickels is professor of art and theory at the Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe, Germany, and Sigmund Freud Professor of Media and Philosophy at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland.
