David K. Cohen is the John Dewey Collegiate Professor of Education and professor of education policy at the University of Michigan as well as visiting professor of education at Harvard University. He is the author of several books, most recently "Teaching and Its Predicaments." He lives in Chelsea, Michigan, and Somerville, Massachusetts. Donald J. Peurach is assistant professor of educational studies in the School of Education at the University of Michigan. He is the author of "Seeing Complexity in Public Education." He lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Joshua L. Glazer is visiting associate professor of education administration at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at George Washington University. He lives in Washington, DC. Karen Gates was a senior area specialist in the study of instructional improvement at the University of Michigan. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Simona Goldin is a research specialist at TeachingWorks and a lecturer in the School of Education, both at the University of Michigan. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
