About the author










Stephen Southern is Professor and Chair in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Mississippi College. Dr. Southern has integrated roles of clinician, supervisor, consultant, administrator, and educator. He designed, implemented, and evaluated treatment programs for individuals, couples, and families, including those recovering from addiction. He has planned and organized mental health treatment programs for adult and juvenile offenders, as well. Southern is editor of the Journal of Addictions & Offender Counseling
