About the author










Richard N. Piland, a former college teacher and community survey research firm owner, is an amateur historian and an avid model railroad enthusiast. In his third book with Arcadia Publishing, Piland has drawn on the photograph archives of the Butler County Historical Society, the George C. Cummins "Remember When" Collection, and the Hamilton City School District.
