About the author
Dan Rebellato is an experienced, internationally performed playwright for theatre and radio. He has taught playwriting for 25 years for various universities, writers' groups, Arvon and elsewhere. He has also written widely and influentially on contemporary British theatre, with a focus on the theory and practice of new writing. He is Professor of Contemporary Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London.Jacqueline Bolton is Lecturer in Drama and Theatre at the University of Lincoln, UK. Her research interests include dramaturgy, new writing and British fringe theatre of the 1970s and 1980s. She has written for the journal Studies in Theatre and Performance, is the editor of the Methuen Drama Student Edition of Pornography by Simon Stephens, and author of ‘Joint Stock’ in British Theatre Companies: 1980-1994, edited by Graham Saunders (Bloomsbury Methuen Drama, 2015).Lynette Goddard is Professor of Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.NADINE HOLDSWORTH is Associate Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Warwick, UK.Philip Roberts is Emeritus Professor in the School of English of the University of Leeds, UK, where until 2004 he was Professor of Drama and Theatre Studies and Director of the Workshop Theatre.Richard Boon is Emeritus Professor of Drama, the University of Hull, UK.
