About the author

Peter Fleming, Jahrgang 1907, ist der Bruder des James-Bond-Schöpfers Ian Fleming. Nach Studien in Eton und Oxford arbeitete er nach 1930 als Auslandskorrespondent für die Londoner Times. Er starb 1971 in Black Mount, Argyllshire.
