Informationen zum Autor Sanjay Mathur and Suprakas Sinha Ray are the authors of Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnology VI, Volume 33, Issue 7, published by Wiley. Klappentext Discover the latest advances in nanotechnology and nanomaterials The 6th International Symposium on Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnology was held in January 2012, during the 36th International Conference on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC) in Daytona Beach, Florida. This symposium covered a broad range of issues, including synthesis, processing, modeling, and structure-property correlations in nanomaterials and nanocomposites, enabling scientists, engineers, and technologists from around the world to explore the latest developments in the field. More than sixty presentations, including invited talks, oral presentations, and posters, were given by symposium participants, providing a broad range of interdisciplinary perspectives on nanostructured systems. This issue features fourteen peer-reviewed papers originating from the symposium, including: Nanostructured coatings by cluster beam deposition: method and applications A new greener synthetic route to cadmium/lead selenide and telluride nanoparticles Antimicrobial properties of copper- and silver-loaded silica nanomaterials Carbon nanotube-based nanocomposite strain sensor for structural health monitoring Recent advances in membrane development for CO-2-free fossil fuel power plants Photos and illustrations throughout this issue enable readers to better understand the science and technology of nanostructured materials and devices. This issue represents one of nine CESP issues published from the 36th ICACC meeting. ICACC is the world's most prominent international meeting dedicated to advanced structural, functional, and nanoscopic ceramics, composites, and other emerging ceramic materials and technologies. ICACC has been organized each year by The American Ceramic Society and The American Ceramic Society's Engineering Ceramics Division since 1977. Zusammenfassung This issue features fourteen peer-reviewed papers originating from The 6th International Symposium on Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnology. It includes Nanostructured coatings by cluster beam deposition; a new greener synthetic route to cadmium/lead selenide and telluride nanoparticles; and much more.
