About the author

Pippa Greenwood is a familiar face of the BBC, having worked with Alan
Titchmarsh on Daytime Live, and for over 13 years a regular presenter
on BBC 2’s Gardeners’ World. She is also a regular panellist on BBC
Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time and other radio appearances. In
addition to writing for the BBC and The Mirror, she has written many
