Informationen zum Autor Jenny Occleshaw learned to knit! sew and embroider as a child! a time when she was encouraged to be creative! though knitting quickly became her favoured activity. Knitting later became a perfect antidote to hours of music studies and sustained her through a nursing career. Jenny honed her pattern-writing skills while working for Patons Australia and has since contributed patterns for publication to other knitting magazines. She now gives knitting workshops and says she loves seeing the joy people find in learning a new skill or mastering new techniques. In 2007 Jenny joined the Artists in Schools programme and taught knitting in a small Tasmanian town for a week! at the end of which she judged a knitted sock completion!
