Legendary Locals of Eastpointe, Michigan

Eastpointe was first settled in the early 1800s by Irish and German immigrants, who had traveled to a new country to find a better life. The inherent values of strong education, hard work, and love of home and family have continued throughout the city's history into modern times. Historical research and interviews with longtime business ownersand residents have contributed to these stories of individuals who make the backbone of the Eastpointe community.
