Dr. theol. rer. nat. h.c. Günter Altner war sowohl Professor für Humanbiologie an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd als auch Professor für evangelische Theologie an der Universität Koblenz-Landau. Er ist Mitbegründer des Instituts für angewandte Ökologie e.v. (Öko-Institut) in Freiburg. Zahlreich Veröffentlichungen zwischen Naturwissenschaft und Sozialethik.

Regine Kollek (Prof. Dr. rer. nat.) is professor for technology assessment and leads the research group »technology assessment of modern biotechnology in medicine« at the research centre BIOGUM at Hamburg University.
