The Kunstkammer of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna is one of the greatest and most important collections of its kind in the world. Dr. Sabine Haag, geboren in Bregenz, Direktorin der Kunstkammer und der Weltlichen und Geistlichen Schatzkammer, leitet seit 2009 als Generaldirektorin das Kunsthistorische Museum mit Museum für Völkerkunde und Österreichischem Theatermuseum, Wien. Sie ist eine ausgewiesene Spezialistin für Elfenbeinkunst.
