Many projects for sustainable development and poverty alleviation in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) have failed. However, there are defined sustaianability criteria for funding of projects, especial by international organisations and institutions based on their experiences sponsoring projects, particularly in less developed countries and SSA. This book is a revision of part of a bachelor thesis,it analyses the EC's defined criteria for funding of projects in developing countries and combine it with a Project Cycle Management(PCM)approach as a parameter for assessing why developmental projects failed in SSA. The region is still in severe poverty after many years of developmental aids. The book proposed an integrated technological/management framework comprising of system and technological management with the focus on the critical path and dependences of project timing and budging. This book can be useful to international organisations and institutions working/sponsoring projects in SSA and other developing countries, consultants/technical advisers in SSA, government agencies in developing countries, researchers, students and as well as for training on applied project cycle management.
