Klappentext As a veteran Israeli guide I realised that there was no concise history book for the amateur historian wanting to understand the complex history of this small piece of land nestled between Egypt and the Fertile Crescent so I wrote and published this book in 1996. An updated edition was published in 2000 and the third edition in 2010. My greatest joy is when people who are not history buffs tell me they enjoyed the book and learnt from it.
