Life's Highest Goal is a guidebook for those seeking to realize the Living God within them. The book emphasizes the importance of seeking to perfect our lives here on earth as the means to create happiness for ourselves both in this life and in the life beyond. All material goals are limited in space and time, but the goal of inner awakening in the Spirit transcends the laws of matter.

The path that leads to the highest goal is "long, steep and rugged" but also simple: Life's Highest Goal advises us to use our daily work and relationships to grow spiritually, and cautions against withdrawing from the world. It tells us to turn towards the Light within ourselves and away from darkness, to focus inward and avoid being consumed by the outer world. It emphasizes the central importance of seeking to embody the energy of love: "The might of human beings truly knows no limits when their lives embody love." Finally, it describes Jesus as the embodiment of the highest love of anyone who has lived on earth.
