The Workshop makes a brief overview of different topics related with fundamental parameters, dynamics and large astronomical databases compilation as well as several aspects of astronomical instrumentation used in such studies. This Workshop were centered on large field beginning from the age of the Local Interstellar Bubble (presented by H. Abt) to
the future of the Washington Double Star Catalog.
