About the author

Jutta Richter, geb. 1955, veröffentlichte noch als Schülerin ihr erstes Buch. Anschließend studierte sie Theologie, Germanistik und Publizistik in Münster. Seit 1978 lebt sie als freiberufliche Autorin auf Schloss Westerwinkel im Münsterland. Für ihre Bücher erhielt sie zahlreiche Preise - 2014 den großen Preis der Deutschen Akademie für Kinder- und Jugendliteratur.
