About the author

Jan Ecker, geb. 1973, studierte Geschichte, Germanistik und Spanisch an den Universitäten Passau, Salamanca und Freiburg. Er war Stipendiat der Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, machte Staatsexamen 2000 und promovierte im Jahr 2004. Seit 2004 ist Jan Ecker Wissenschaftlicher Assistent am Historischen Seminar der Universität Freiburg
