Le jardin du Bois du Fay, dans la Vallée de Chevreuse, est le jardin privé du paysagiste
américain Mark Rudkin. Il est composé d'un sous-bois en pente - dans lequel alternent,
du printemps à l'automne, les floraisons et les teintes de feuillage exceptionnelles - et
de trois chambres de verdure, cernées de haies de charmes et d'ifs. Dans ce sous-bois
aride et sablonneux, typique de la région parisienne, Mark Rudkin a su créer un jardin
où les couleurs se succèdent et où le charme opère toute l'année.

The garden of the Bois du Fay, in the Chevreuse valley, is the private garden of American
landscape artist Mark Rudkin. It comprises a sloping woodland garden - in which
springtime blossom and exceptionally beautiful autumn colour take their turns - and three
flower-filled 'green rooms', surrounded by hedges of hornbeam and yew. In this dry, sandy,
shady woodland, typical of the region around Paris, Mark Rudkin has created a garden
where successive waves of colour work their charm all year round.
