Informationen zum Autor We'd like to tell you all sorts of things about Odin Redbeard. We'd like to tell you he's a Viking who likes to pillage in his spare time. We'd like to tell you he lives on a fjord where he fishes from his longboat. We'd like to tell you that he wears a horned helmet when he goes down to the supermarket. But we can't tell you anything: Odin Redbeard is - you've guessed it - a pseudonym. His true identity must be kept secret... Sarah grew up in Derbyshire, mainly under a snowdrift. She spent much of her childhood scampering in the nearby fields with a few goats. Then she decided to be sensible and studied Illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and gained a Masters degree at Kingston University. Sarah lives in London and specialises in funny, inky illustration and words for children's books. Klappentext Vulgar's new teacher is called Otto the Bone-Cruncher and he's a proper viking! Vulgar can't wait for the school trip, to learn all about hunting and exploring and having adventures. But after a very VERY long walk and a tea of roasted slugs, Vulgar's not so chipper. It's getting dark, and he's a bit spooked. There are trolls in these hills... Zusammenfassung Vulgar has to go back to school, and he is miserable about it. However, his gloom turns to excitement when he discovers that the famous Viking explorer Otto the Bone-Cruncher has joined the school to teach hunting. But when Vulgar is forced to sleep on rocks, wash in freezing streams and eat raw slugs, life as a hunter doesn't seem quite so cool.
