About the author

Charles Baudelaire (1821-67) hat überwiegend in Paris gelebt, wo er das väterliche Erbe als Großstadtdandy durchbrachte. Er war auch tätig als Kunstkritiker, übersetzte Poe und entdeckte die Musik Richard Wagners für Frankreich.
