About the author

Pavel Kohout, geb. 1928 in Prag, ist als Dramatiker und Schriftsteller international bekannt geworden. Als einer der Wortführer des 'Prager Frühlings' wurde er 1969 aus der Kommunistischen Partei ausgeschlossen. Kohout lebt heute in Wien und Prag.
