About the author

Adrian Thatcher is retired, Honorary Professor in the Theology and Religion Department, University of Exeter, and Tutor in Medical Humanities at the University of Plymouth. He recently edited the Oxford Handbook of Theology, Sexuality and Gender (2015). He is the author of Making Sense of Sex (SPCK, 2012), and God, Sex and Gender (Wiley 2011). His latest work, Redeeming Gender, will be published by Oxford University Press in 2017. He is an Anglican, and member of Christ Church, Plymouth.
