Issue Tracking System (ITS) is a web-based bug tracking system designed for issue item tracking and bug tracking. The ITS software application records and follow the progress of every problem or "issue" identified by a computer system user until such problem or issue is resolved. The ITS is used for reporting bug tracking, defect tracking, and issue tracking etc. A major component of the ITS is the database that records facts about known bugs. Such facts may include the time a bug was reported, its severity, the erroneous program behavior, details on how to reproduce the bug, the computer user's identity reporting the bug and the identity of the programmers working to fix such bugs or issues. The ITS supports the concept of bug's life cycle tracked through the status assigned to the bug. The ITS helps various enterprises including software developers, manufacturers, IT help desks, and other IT service providers to address and fix the bugs or issues in a computer system.
