Pour cette session 2009-2010 des Albums des jeunes architectes et des paysagistes, 15 équipes ont été proclamées lauréates, soit 19 architectes et cinq paysagistes de moins de 35 ans. Des personnalités atypiques, des parcours singuliers, des démarches engagées : avec cette promotion baptisée « Claude Vasconi », les jurys présidés par Frédéric Mitterrand, ministre de la Culture et de la Communication, avec l'architecte Christian Hauvette, pour les jeunes architectes, et l'architecte-paysagiste Pascal Cribier, pour les jeunes paysagistes, ont souhaité rendre compte de la vivacité d'une nouvelle génération aussi enthousiaste qu'enthousiasmante.
Réalisations achevées ou en cours, concours gagnés ou perdus, projets imaginés à plusieurs ou en solo, les travaux ici présentés démontrent l'attachement de cette jeune garde voyageuse à interroger les questions contemporaines et les enjeux de demain. Ils témoignent également d'une grande rigueur constructive et d'une capacité évidente à appréhender avec intelligence les problématiques spatiales. Cet intérêt affirmé et revendiqué pour l'essence même de leurs métiers respectifs apparaît comme un salutaire retour aux fondamentaux pour ces heureux élus qui entendent bien contribuer à renouveler le débat et participer au défi de la qualité architecturale, urbaine et paysagère de nos territoires.
Only 15 teams have been awarded in this 2009-2010 session of the Albums des jeunes architectes et des paysagistes. 19 architects and five landscape architects younger than 35. For this promotion named « Claude Vasconi », the jurys were chaired by Frédéric Mitterrand, minister of Culture and Communication, with the architect Christian Hauvette for the young architects and the architect and landscape designer Pascal Cribier for the young landscape designers.
Projects which are finished and others still being carried out, competitions that have been won or lost, projects that have been imagined by groups or mdividuals... all the projects that are presented here show the attachment that this young traveling guard have in asking today's questions and overcome tomorrow's stakes. They also show a great precision in their work and a clear capacity to face with intelligence the spatial issues.
These happy winners have the firm and claimed interest for the very essence of their profession which appears to be for them as a welcome return to fundamentals. They are willing to be a major factor to renew the debate and take part in the architectural, urban and landscapes quality challenge of our territories.
