chevalier poète, l'escrimeur amoureux, le soldat

du genre théâtral, héritier du drame romantique et

théâtre aura autant marqué la scène : c'est la raison pour
laquelle Cyrano fait l'objet d'une étude détaillée. Plusieurs
lectures analytiques précédées d'un travail préparatoire
pourront être menées en classe. Un groupement
de textes sur l'histoire de ce héros et sur la gloire qu'il a
apportée à son créateur complète le commentaire.
