This volume combines theoretical-methodological studies and systematic as well as empirical contributions on regional, interregional, and global aspects of regionalisation in Europe and Asia as well as empirical analyses of foreign policies of countries in the northern Asian-Pacific region, including Russia. In order to provide a comprehensive insight, this book presents studies focussing on political dynamics and relations, on economic cooperation and integration, on security questions (both in a narrow and in a wider sense) as well as on issues of cultural, political, and historical understanding and identity-building.
