Roméo et Juliette - Lecture accompagnée par Sylvie Jopeck et Pierre Notte

C'est à Vérone. Un bal y est donné. On y vient
enjoué, on y danse masqué. Un jeune homme
croise une toute jeune fille : premiers regards,
grandes émotions. Il y a comme un parfum
d'amour dans l'air italien. Mais Roméo appartient
à une famille ennemie de celle de Juliette.
Le ciel bleu vire au gris. Quelques meurtres, un
bannissement et un mariage plus tard, on pressent
l'orage. L'amour est un sentiment honorable,
mais la passion une affaire grandiose,
absolue... et tragique. Le coeur s'emballe, vous
allez le constater au fil des pages...

L'accompagnement critique s'organise autour de quatre
thèmes : la haine, l'amour, une oeuvre de duels et l'enfer
et la mort des héros. Une réflexion est menée autour de
la question de la traduction, avec plusieurs versions à
l'appui. Les réécritures de la scène du balcon et un exposé
sur les rapports entre la pièce et le cinéma répondent au
nouveau programme de français des lycées.
