Informationen zum Autor ROLF JUNGNICKEL is Head of the HWWA research group: International Mobility of Firms. He has acted as a consultant to the German government, and has been a member of Team Europe since its inception. His research interests include foreign direct investment and multinational enterprises, foreign trade and industrial and technological policy, and he has published widely on these topics. This book compares the efficiency of domestic and FoFs, and also looks at the performance of FoFs in several different countries. They conclude that foreign ownership matters but the real difference is not between FoFs and national firms but between multinational and domestic firms.
