né le 26 juillet 1875, disparu le 6 juin 1961, carl gustav jung est, avec sigmund freud et alfred adler, l'un des " trois grands " dont l'oeuvre a révolutionné la psychologie au début du xxe siècle.

nul n'était plus qualifié que charles baudouin (1893-1963), ancien directeur de l'institut de psychagogie et de psychothérapie de genève, pour présenter et expliquer au lecteur cette oeuvre qui eut le mérite d'approfondir et de dépasser la découverte initiale de freud en explorant l'immense domaine de l'inconscient collectif.
