C'est un voyage d'est en ouest au cœur de la création graphique américaine auquel nous invite ici Michel Bouvet et son équipe. C'est aussi un parcours historique balisé de trois étapes symboliques : New York, avec Seymour Chwast ; Sacramento pour la revue Emigre, lieu d'expression incontournable des nouveaux courants de la typographie contemporaine ; San Francisco et Los Angeles où culture latino-américaine et asiatique rencontrent la révolution technologique. Parcours non exhaustif d'une Amérique que l'on croit connaître.

Michel Bouvet and his team hereby invite us on a discovery journey, from the East Coast westwards, of American graphic arts creation.
