JARDINS DU BOIS DES MOUTIERS BILINGUE

Le Bois des Moutiers est un lieu magique, perché sur la falaise de Varengeville-sur-Mer, en Seine Maritime, descendant doucement vers la mer. Les jardins et la maison ont été créés, il y a un peu plus de 100 ans, dans l'esprit Arts and Crafts, subtile alliance d'art, d'artisanat et de nature. Ils constituent un des rares exemples de jardin anglais en France. Le parc abrite, entre autres, des rhododendrons centenaires et des rivières d'hortensias, dont les floraisons font l'admiration des visiteurs. En toute saison, la magie et le mystère des lieux, magnifiquement rendus par l'oeil du photographe, opèrent sur le promeneur.

Perched on the cliffs of Varengeville-sur-Mer, in the Seine-Maritime, and sloping gently down towards the sea, Bois des Moutiers is a magical place. Created a century ago in the Arts-and-Crafts style, the gardens and house represent a rare example of an « English garden » in France and are a subtle blend of art, craftsmanship and nature. Amongst the park's treasures are towering, century-old rhododendrons and great rivers of hydrangeas ; their cascades of flowers never fail to astonish sightseeing visitors. Magnificently captured by the photographer, the magic and mystery of this estate prove irresistible in every season.
