Figure out figure in

À l'occasion de l'exposition Tony Cragg au musée du Louvre, l'artiste présente huit sculptures récentes dans les cours Marly et Puget et une nouvelle oeuvre, versus, sous la pyramide de Pei. Avec figure out figure in, il explore, au travers de la sculpture et du dessin, la relation entre l'énergie intérieure des corps et leur enveloppe extérieure.
Outre un texte de Tony Cragg, cet ouvrage contient un essai de Catherine Grenier et un entretien entre Marie-Laure Bernadac, commissaire de l'exposition, et l'artiste.

On the occasion of the exhibition of his work at the Louvre, Tony Cragg will be presenting eight recent sculptures in the cour Marly and the cour Puget, and a new work, versus, under I. M. Pei's pyramid. In figure out figure in, the artist explores, through sculpture and drawing, the relationship between the inner energy of bodies and their outer envelopes.
This volume features a text by Tony Cragg, as well as an essay by Catherine Grenier and an interview of the artist by Marie-Laure Bernadac, curator of the exhibition.
