About the author

Wolfgang Baumgartner war jahrelang als Militärreporter tätig, daneben auch als Nahkampfausbilder und Bodyguard. Als Universitätslektor arbeitete er in Kolumbien, Honduras, Mexiko, Kambodia, Nicaragua, in der ehemaligen Sowjetunion und im ehemaligen Jugoslawien. Hier war er während des Krieges tätig und ist seit 1996 permanent vor Ort.
