Violet Kelley grew up in Germany before moving back to England, where she now calls Devon home. You can find her foraging in charity shops, listening to Florence and the Machine, embroidering and revisiting her favourite period dramas. Violet always knew she wanted to pursue art, and after feeling very jealous of her classmate's art skills, she started drawing every day. After happily graduating with first-class honours degree in Illustration from Plymouth University, Violet was overjoyed to be highly commended by the MacMillan prize for her book 'The Red Witch' - a reimagining of the classic tale, the 'Little Red Riding Hood'.
