Gilbert Morris, Ph.D. (1929-2016) was a professor of English at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas for twenty-four years. He was the author of more than 230 novels in his career with nearly seven million copies of his novels sold worldwide He is considered by many to be "the grandfather of Christian historical fiction."
